Overview
The Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS) group, led by the CIO, focuses on delivering secure, reliable digital experiences. As Manager, IT Enablement Platforms, the Network Platform Owner will lead the infrastructure that supports our Network solutions, shaping the architecture and governance that enable EDC’s 2030 transformation.
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into network strategies and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Lead vendor management and governance for network service delivery.
- Serve as technical leader and subject‑matter expert for EDC’s network infrastructure.
- Negotiate diplomatically, de‑scale issues, and find creative solutions to complex problems.
- Drive continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and performance optimization across managed services.
- Communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and represent EDC in vendor discussions.
- Maintain a forward‑looking perspective on emerging technologies (AI, AIOps, DevOps, automation, etc.).
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree or college diploma in Computer Science or related field.Minimum 7 years of experience managing and maintaining network infrastructure and services.Minimum 1 year as a Network Manager, Network Product / Platform Owner, or Network Team Lead with stakeholder, roadmap, and lifecycle experience.Deep understanding of the Network Lifecycle (SDN, LAN / WAN, firewall / edge, SWG / SASE, DDI, NAC, NDR, NLB).Experience in cloud networking services and hybrid cloud environments.Experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) with auditing and compliance attestation (CIS, NIST, ISO).Experience in ITSM / ITOM.Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills.Strong initiative, ownership, and ability to adapt to fast‑paced, evolving environments.What Will Make You Stand Out
Network certifications : CCNA or higher.Cloud certifications : Azure Network Engineer Associate or similar.Product Owner certifications : CSPO, SAFe PO / PM.ITSM / ITOM certifications : ServiceNow, ITIL.Bilingual in English and French.Eligibility
