Project : Canadian Royalties

Location : Northern Quebec (100km south of Deception Bay, 1800km north of Montreal Canada)

Rotation : 14 days on, 14 days off

Shifts : 12 hours

Travel : Flights to and from Val d'Or, Montreal, Quebec City, Nunavik and La Grande Rivière

Accommodation : Remote site - camp

Job Summary :

The primary role of a Jumbo Operator is to set up and operate a single or multiple boom jumbo, to drill and blast in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

General :

• Visually inspect and wash down the working area, checking for misfires
• The ability to read and understand the ground support management plan and carry a copy of the current heading ground support plan into the heading.
• Conduct face prep prior to drilling rounds
• Ability to read and follow survey memos, mark up offsets line and grade.
• Ability to read and follow engineered drill profiles (Approved site standards)
• Perform minor repairs, such as changing shanks, couplings and hoses.
• Complete daily checklists / pre-starts on equipment and submit written and verbal reports to supervisor.
• Maintain working area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his duties in a safe and efficient manner
• Must be able to follow proper procedure to ensure safety and to control equipment damage
