Senior Mobile Developer (React Native)
MEDFAR is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications that deliver exceptional user experiences across iOS, Android, and web using React Native.
What You'll Blood
- Architect for Scale : Design and evolve robust, maintainable, and secure mobile application architectures that perform seamlessly across platforms.
- Own the Build and Release Process : Manage the full lifecycle of mobile releases, including builds, signing, certificates, versioning, and deployments to app stores.
- Handle Stores and Publishing : Configure and maintain app store accounts, certificates, and credentials, overseeing publishing workflows and ensuring timely, compliant releases.
- Champion Quality and Standards : Write clean, testable, and performant code; uphold best practices in accessibility, maintainability, and performance optimization.
- Enhance Workflows : Improve build automation, testing pipelines, and release management processes to streamline delivery and reduce risk.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines : Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Developers to deliver cohesive, user-focused experiences.
- Mentor and Guide : Support peers through code reviews, pair programming, and architectural discussions; encourage curiosity and technical growth across the team.
- Drive Technical Innovation : Explore new tools and frameworks that improve scalability, developer experience, and long-term product health.
What You Bring
University degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.At least 10 years of experience in mobile development, including extensive experience with React Native for cross-platform applications.Proven ability to architect and deploy large-scale mobile systems integrated with backend and cloud services (Azure experience is a plus).Deep understanding of mobile build systems, certificates, signing, and app publishing for both iOS and Android.Experience managing store releases, versioning, and CI / CD automation for mobile delivery.Experience integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs, native modules, and third-party libraries.Strong knowledge of mobile performance optimization, debugging, and security best practices.Hands‑on experience improving DevOps, testing, and deployment workflows in mobile environments.Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross‑functional agile teams.A natural mentor who supports others through guidance and knowledge sharing.Fluency in English and French (spoken and written).Working Conditions
Contract : Permanent, full time (40h / week)Working mode : Hybrid or Remote – occasional in‑office presence may be required.Location requirement : Candidates must reside in the province of Quebec.Benefits
