Full Time Security Guard - Nanaimo

Our Security Guards are offered employment in a dynamic role in one of the most unique work environments that BC has to offer. This customer-facing role has the crucial responsibility of making our passengers feel safe and secure as they travel from coast to coast.

Location: Departure Bay & Duke Point

Pay Rate: $21.63 / $22.66

Responsibilities:

· Ensure the safety and security of ferry terminals (Duke Point and Departure Bay) and onboard vessels

Requirements:

• Valid BC Security License
• Access to personal vehicle
• Excellent customer service and communication
• Must be comfortable working 8 hour shifts
• Comfortable with radio communication
• Ability to write reports on job-related activities
• Comfort working independently and in varying weather conditions
• Punctuality and reliability
