Interior Health is hiring a term-specific full-time Lead, Surgical Services Network . This exciting opportunity offers the chance to be part of a collegial and productive team that supports system change across Interior Health for improvements in surgical services care delivery. We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and systems-minded thinker, preferably with experience in surgical services who is passionate about driving meaningful change in healthcare. The end date of this position is approximately December 31, 2026, or return of incumbent.

Salary range for the position is $88,990 to $127,923. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.

How will you create an impact :

The Lead, Surgical Services Network prepares and coordinates high priority surgical and / or gastrointestinal endoscopy projects from initial planning though implementation and evaluation at the regional level. The Lead, Surgical Services Network is also accountable to and responsible for reporting project status to the Manager for the implementation of priority Interior Health (IH) and provincial surgical strategies being implemented. The Lead, Surgical Services Network provides leadership and ensures the involvement and participation of key partners including clinicians, medical staff, and support staff. The Lead, Surgical Services Network is required to lead or coordinate several initiatives and priorities simultaneously.

The Lead, Surgical Services Network works with others from across IH and key partners at the site, community, and provincial levels to facilitate ongoing collaboration, potential for standardization of approaches and application of change management requirements. Additionally, the Lead, Surgical Services Network develops and populates work-plans, status updates, briefing papers and reports, and ensures the timely and effective implementation of decisions and communication between various working groups, teams, key partners, site leadership, the IH Surgical Services Network Team and Senior Executive.
