About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing full-cycle accounting and supporting financial reporting.

This role is structured to support professional growth toward a Finance Manager position, offering increasing exposure to leadership, strategic financial management, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will be mentored by senior leadership to prepare for expanded responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare month end journal entries and working papers
• Perform complex account reconciliations for both Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts, providing comparisons against prior year and budget
• Create and maintain continuity schedules for select general ledger accounts.
• Prepare reconciliation of intercompany accounts; summarize, prepare, and post journal entries for related party transactions.
• Leverage Power BI and other tools to design, build, and automate interactive financial dashboards and reports that provide clear, visual insights into KPIs and business performance
• Develop and implement process improvements and automation initiatives
• Support cash flow management and analysis.
• Coordinate and support external reviews
• Lead the development of annual operating budgets and long-term financial plans.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency

Qualifications

• CPA designation or in final stages of completion
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment is an asset
