Real Estate Paralegal

We are seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. This position would be a great opportunity for an experienced professional looking for a collegial and supportive work environment with flexibility to meet the candidate’s circumstances and the firm’s needs.

General Responsibilities

• Review commercial contracts of purchase and sale, easements, rights of way, subdivisions, and strata plan filings
• Prepare documents concerning acquisitions and sales of various types of commercial properties, financing and development of land
• Attend to the registration of documents and security in land title offices and other government registries
• Conduct due diligence searches and provide comprehensive summaries to assist in decision-making processes
• Liaise with all internal and external parties involved with the transaction, including the preparation of correspondence
• Assist with other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications & Attributes

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience handling Commercial Real Estate Paralegal work, excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a proven ability to handle assigned tasks independently and as part of a team.
