Do you have experience in the financial services industry? Our growing client in the Mississauga area is recruiting for a Junior Accountant.

The Junior Accountant is a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual who excels at multitasking and has a strong understanding of accounting principles. They are responsible for verifying, processing, reconciling, and analyzing accounts payable and receivable for both customers and vendors. They are the point of contact for external parties, such as vendors and external partners.

Job Requirements :

• University degree or college diploma in a relevant field of study
• Minimum of 3+ years experience in a finance or accounting role focusing on transactions
• Financial services experience required, insurance background is an asset
• Experience with reconciliations, month-end closing, and audit is an asset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, General Ledger systems and file import / export
• Bilingual (English and French) is an asset
