Role Description

This is a full-time role as an Agronomist, located in Yorkton, SK, with some flexibility for remote work. The Agronomist will be responsible for providing agronomic support and advice to clients, conducting field assessments, developing crop and soil management plans. Additional duties include staying updated on the latest agricultural research and advancements to improve plant nutrition and optimize crop yields.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Soil Science with expertise in soil health and management
• Knowledge in Agriculture practices
• Experience with Plant Nutrition and crop management
• Ability to conduct Research and apply findings to real-world agricultural challenges
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficiency in using technology for data collection and analysis in agriculture
• Relevant degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Soil Science, or a related field
• Experience in a similar role and familiarity with regional crop challenges are considered assets
