Real Estate Agent

I’m looking for an agent to join my team. We offer marketing and administrative support, attractive office space in Mount Pleasant, and a fun, productive group of agents and support staff in the Stilhavn organization. The fee and responsibility structure will be negotiated with the successful candidate to our mutual benefit in a sincere effort to attract the most qualified, talented, and service oriented professional I can hire.

The Mary Cleaver Group has never followed the prescribed rules of real estate success. I’ve been a Medallion Club Member for 11 consecutive years without cold-calling, door-knocking, automatic stock emails / texts, sign in sheets, or presumptive closes. I don’t set goals based on numbers of leads contacted, deals, or commission targets.

We have built our community one meaningful interaction at a time, and by providing the same industry leading service at a fair and transparent price to buyers and sellers in Vancouver regardless of their price bracket.

Industry leading service means, in part :

Professional level negotiation for buyers and sellers.

No lock boxes - we show our homes personally.

Free staging - we style homes whenever possible using a combination of their existing furniture and a healthy stock of decorative pieces we replenish regularly.

Personal service to buyers - Our buying clients may go through opens on their own from time to time but we go with them whenever possible.

Written document reports - our buyers don’t navigate the documents on their own - they get the benefit of our expertise in writing.

Professional cleaning as a gift to every seller and for buyers when needed.

We don’t close our own clients and we don’t do listing and buyers presentations. We have conversations with the goal of providing as much value as possible, which usually results in us being chosen by buyers and sellers, even in stiff competition.

We roll up our sleeves and do what our clients need from us. There is a consistent, effective system, but there is flexibility too. We still believe the customer is (almost!) always right.

The successful candidate will have performed a minimum of 40 transactions, over as many years as it took to do it. They will work independently, and be keen to take courses beyond what is necessary for their licence, particularly negotiation training. They will be excited to work hard to give uncommon service to our clients and buy in to our vision statement, which is :
