Applewood Mitsubishi Richmond is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Internet Manager to lead our digital sales initiatives. This role is crucial for managing and converting internet-generated sales leads, optimizing our online presence, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from the digital inquiry to the showroom floor.

Role & Responsibilities

· Lead Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of all internet sales leads (phone, email, chat, forms) from initial contact through to appointment setting and conversion.

· Team Leadership: Train, motivate, and manage the Business Development Center (BDC) or sales team members responsible for handling internet inquiries, ensuring adherence to best practices and response time standards.

· Process Optimization: Continuously monitor and refine the internet sales process to maximize efficiency, lead conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.

· Digital Communication: Manage communications via email, text, and chat to qualify customers, answer product questions, and schedule test drives or appointments.

· Performance Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for internet sales, providing regular reports to management on lead volume, source, conversion rates, and team performance.

· Website & Advertising Liaison: Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure website content is current and that digital advertising campaigns are driving high-quality leads.

Qualifications and Skills

· Proven experience in automotive retail, specifically in internet sales or a BDC management role.

· Strong understanding of CRM systems (e.g., DealerSocket, VinSolutions) and digital sales tools.

· Exceptional communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to analyze data and sales metrics to drive decision-making.

· A passion for providing outstanding customer service and meeting sales targets.

Commission Payment:

As an Independent Contractor, you will be paid a variable commission payment plan. Provided you hit your targets, our Internet Manager can make anywhere between $80,000 to $120,000 annually. As an Independent Contractor, you are responsible for setting up your own Sole Proprietorship and registering for a GST number. After which, you are responsible for paying your yearly taxes as a Sole Proprietorship (or Corporation, if you so choose). It is generally advisable that you connect with a Tax professional to receive advice on how to handle this from the beginning of your contract with Applewood.
