Project

The Woodfibre LNG Project is located approximately 7 km west-southwest of Squamish, British Columbia. It involves the construction and operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on the previous Woodfibre pulp mill site, which would have a storage capacity of 250,000 m3 and would produce approximately 2.1 million tons per year of LNG.

Position

The Laboratory Supervisor is an integral part of Woodfibre LNG's dynamic team. This role reports to the Senior Process Engineer, Operations Engineering and will be responsible for developing and progressing Ready for Operations (RFO) activities relating to laboratory activities, ensuring seamless transition of the facility from EPC to the operations phase, and thereafter, manage the operations of the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities :

During the EPC stage of the project, the successful candidate will :

• Lead the set up and commissioning of WLNG’s modular site laboratory.
• Establish procedures and work instructions for sampling, testing, analysis, reporting and chemicals management. This includes developing laboratory management procedures, quality manuals, and laboratory services contracts.

Post EPC, during the Operational phase, the incumbent will be responsible for executing and overseeing the analysis of samples for a typical LNG plant. These analyses shall include, but are not limited to : :

Benefits
