Overview

Our government client in Winnipeg, Manitoba is looking for a Dynamics Developer resource for a 24-month contract (an initial 6-month contract with an extension option of an additional 18 months) reference 29954-RFR-DTS-048. The position is preferred to be onsite in Winnipeg, MB but remote will be considered.

What you will be doing

Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom applications and integrations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

• Solution Design & Development : Design, develop, and deploy custom applications and integrations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform tools.
• Customization & Configuration : Customize Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.) and build Power Apps / Power Automate workflows to address business requirements.
• Integration : Integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, third‑party applications) using web services, APIs, and connectors.
• Data Analysis & Reporting : Leverage Power BI to create detailed dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that drive data‑driven decision‑making.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders : Work with business analysts, project managers, and other team members to gather requirements, ensure proper implementation, and meet project milestones.
• Quality Assurance & Testing : Ensure the quality and performance of all applications by performing testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Coding and Testing : Write, test, and deploy code to ensure applications meet quality standards of GOM.
• Best Practices & Documentation : Develop and maintain technical documentation, following best practices for version control, release management, and deployment.
• Data Management : Oversee data migration, data integration, and data quality assurance processes.
• Project Management : participate in project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time.
• Mentorship / Training : Mentor fellow developers on dynamics related issues and provide technical support to the team to ensure effective use of Dynamics 365.
