Corporate Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Business Leader / Project Manager for our reputable client to lead strategic initiatives and drive cross-functional projects within a dynamic corproate environment. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, this long-term engagement offers the opportunity to collaborate with various business units and stakeholders to deliver impactful results. The role demands a proactive approach to managing complex programs while fostering innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project sponsors to define scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements during the early stages of strategic initiatives.
• Lead the execution of complex, cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams and enterprise-wide impact.
• Drive projects to successful completion by managing schedules, budgets, and performance objectives.
• Partner with stakeholders across business units to align priorities and ensure seamless project integration.
• Establish and execute risk management strategies, including mitigation plans and escalation processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Spearhead change management initiatives, developing stakeholder engagement and communication plans to support major organizational shifts.
• Work closely with senior leadership on strategic planning, forecasting, and resource optimization for high-priority initiatives.
• Strengthen project governance frameworks and streamline workflows to enhance operational efficiency and consistency.
• Deliver comprehensive executive reporting, providing clear insights into progress, risks, and strategic recommendations.
• Champion efforts that drive the successful commercialization of new products and related offerings

• Minimum of four years of experience leading projects with demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport across diverse groups of stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience in the commercialization of new products or equivalent initiatives.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Atlassian Jira and ERP systems.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including forecasting and budget management.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
• Familiarity with strategic roadmaps, program management, and milestone planning.
• Mergers and acquisitions experience, particularly in post-integration processes, is considered an asset.
