Job Description
Under the supervision of the Security Supervisor, the incumbent of this position will be responsible for installing cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems at our various client sites in Quebec and Ontario. The incumbent will also be required to perform maintenance, repairs, and / or diagnostics on existing installations at these client sites, while providing customer service when required.
What You Will Be Responsible For :
Installing, configuring, and repairing security systems (cameras, alarm systems, access controls, etc.)Regularly inspecting equipment to ensure proper operationDiagnosing and correcting technical malfunctionsAdvising internal and external clients on appropriate security solutions (alarm, fire, video surveillance, access control, etc.)Providing technical support to internal departments as well as subcontractorsParticipating in project execution in collaboration with the security teamPreparing intervention reports and ensuring technical follow-upQualifications
To join our team :
You hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license for at least 3 years;You hold a valid Bureau de la sécurité privée (BSP) card (Installation and Technical Consulting);You have knowledge of and experience with the following technologies (an asset) : Genetec, Axis Communications, Bosch Security Systems;You hold a DEP in Installation and Maintenance of Security Systems;You have 1 to 3 years of experience in the field;You have training in electronics, security, telecommunications, or a related field (DEP, AEC, DEC);You are bilingual : spoken and written French; spoken and written English;You are able to work independently, while traveling or on-site;You have strong organizational and planning skills and manage priorities effectively;You have good communication skills;You have a strong sense of customer service;You manage stress well and are able to work under pressure;You have strong adaptability skills and resourcefulness;You are able to work on the road.
