As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated, career-minded to join our leadership team as the Director of Advanced Planning. This is a unique opportunity to guide and elevate our pre-need program while directly helping families make some of the most important decisions of their lives.
About the Role
The Director of Advanced Planning is both a leader and a hands‑on contributor. In addition to maintaining their own book of clients, this role is responsible for the development, coaching, and success of our Sales Managers and Advanced Planning Advisors.
You will:
- Lead, mentor, and support Sales Managers within their communities to help them achieve performance goals and uphold our service standards.
- Educate team members on the benefits of preplanning and ensure they are fully informed about our programs, products, and value‑driven service model.
- Develop and implement proactive sales strategies, community seminars, outreach programs, and educational workshops to increase pre‑need awareness and growth.
- Engage with diverse community groups to better understand their needs, incorporate feedback, and ensure our services remain relevant, accessible, and meaningful.
- Maintain a friendly, professional presence while problem‑solving and guiding families toward informed decisions.
This is a leadership position that requires the ability to collaborate effectively, communicate with empathy and clarity, and consult with both families and team members at a high level.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who brings:
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing or mentoring a sales team
- A track record of success in pre‑need funeral sales, insurance products, or related advisory roles
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- A friendly, client‑focused approach with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations
- Strategic thinking paired with the drive to execute and achieve measurable goals
- The ability to work collaboratively across departments and communities
