Production Technician

We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious worker to join our client's team located in Lethbridge County, Alberta, Canada. The successful candidate will work in warm and cold environments, move product up to 50lbs through out the day, provide production support, and perform minor preventative maintenance and repairs.

This is an three-month contract opportunity seeking someone to start ASAP . This position operates on a rotating shift every two weeks (7 AM - 3 : 30 PM, and 3 PM -11 : 30 PM every two weeks) . This role offers full eight to twelve hour days, plus overtime, five days per week (OT hours include weekends and shift work as required during peak seasons).

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks associated conditioning, some general repair and maintenance, as directed by supervisor.
• Activities from receiving to storage.
• Conditioning activities such as cleaning and sizing, treating and packaging, palletizing, wrapping and sampling.
• Shipping / receiving, interplant movement, rework, warehousing, and inventory management of bagged and bulk seed, including the safe operation of forklifts.
• Compliance with Work Instructions and Quality Plan requirements.
• Complete and maintain appropriate records, documents, or reports such as quality, safety, grower, and inventory records.
