Transportation Driver

Summary

Provide transportation to seniors and adults with a physical disability who live in the city of Guelph or Wellington County to medical appointments, day programs, grocery shopping, etc.

Description

What you’ll be doing : Drives are scheduled five days a week, regular business hours. Volunteers are welcome to volunteer as much time as they wish as it fits with their availability. You must maintain confidentiality of client information and report concerns to the coordinator regarding the well‑being of the clients. Clients are primarily seniors.

This position requires volunteers to use their own vehicle. Reimbursement for KM is provided.

Responsibilities

• Transport seniors and adults with physical disabilities to medical appointments, day programs, grocery shopping, etc.
• Adhere to a five‑day week and regular business hours.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and report concerns.
• Use own vehicle responsibly and comply with vehicle reimbursement policies.
