Total compensation ranges from $24-26 per hour, with PLUS weekend and rural premiums available.

Job Description

Personal Support Workers play a pivotal role in our healthcare system. At Spectrum Health Care, they work closely with patients and their families, providing personal care and support with activities of daily living. The care provided ensures patients can recover safely from illness or remain in their homes as they age.

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, skincare, light meal preparation, feeding, etc.) in patients' homes or facilities.
• Assess, anticipate, identify, and respond to the changing needs of patients, and communicate available Total Care resources when appropriate.
• Perform delegated tasks under the supervision of a Home Support Supervisor.
• Travel within the assigned region between patients’ residences or facilities.

Qualifications

Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities or Ministry of Education approved program.
