Document Authoring Business Systems Analyst (Exstream / Guidewire)

What is in it for you :

- Incorporated Business Rate : $87-93 per hour.
- 8-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
- Full-time position : 37.50 hours per week.
- Hybrid model with on-site presence required 3 days per week at the Markham office.
- Occasional extended hours to meet key project deadlines.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with business and rating analysts to understand requirements for document publishing solutions.Write business requirements and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).Prepare mock-ups of documents, FSDs, and user stories for development teams.Investigate moderate to complex system issues and propose effective solutions.Conduct thorough system testing in lower environments prior to user acceptance testing (UAT).Support the implementation of system changes with a focus on accuracy and quality.Work closely with developers and project teams to ensure smooth migration to Guidewire.Adapt work hours as needed to meet critical project deadlines and delivery milestones.What you will need to succeed :
Post-secondary education in a related field.5 years of experience in the insurance industry.3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst working on document publishing solutions.Prior experience with systems / programming.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PDF, AFP, and SQL.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong customer service orientation.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Familiarity with OpenText Exstream.Experience with Guidewire.Experience writing SQL queries.Experience using Jira.Bilingual in English and French to support document requirements, communication with stakeholders, and testing across both language versions of business documentation.Why Recruit Action?
