DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
Position Status : 100% Term Assignment to December 31, 2026
Hours of Work : Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
Affiliation : Union Exempt
Salary range : $96,796 to $113,920 per annum (Level 7)
Job Summary
Reporting to the Team Manager for Application Development, the Database Administrator administers the Board's Database Management Systems (DBS) and corporate applications environments to ensure security and availability to approved users. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, installing, maintaining, tuning and backing up system databases; installing, maintaining and troubleshooting corporate applications; and assisting the development team in designing, creating and supporting custom web‑based applications.
