Responsibilities

The Business Analyst works closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to create both business, functional and technical requirements for features and functionality to support our internal business needs and guest experiences.

  • Business and functional requirements gathering & document technical requirements
  • Performs troubleshooting and investigates root cause of production issues
  • Translating business strategy into roadmaps for consumption by teams
  • Prioritizing requirements based on business and technical needs
  • Assess configuration options to meet requirements and specifications
  • Aligning overall scope and sequencing recommendations with business stakeholders
  • Include dependency management and architectural decisions in requirements
  • Utilizing artifacts such as business requirements documents (BRDs), JIRA, Confluence and Business Process Documentation to facilitate requirements alignment sessions
  • Documents technical solutions to identified problems
  • Engages with engineers to design / configure solutions
  • Strong skills in cross-functional partnership and gaining alignment within constraints of the project or work
  • Qualifications

  • Post secondary degree in Accounting, Information Systems. Accounting designation preferred.
  • 7+ years hands on global experience with Tier 1 Financial ERP System; Oracle EBS R12.2 Financials preferred
  • Experience providing requirements for medium to large initiatives with cross functional teams
  • Act as functional lead on 2+ full life cycle financial project implementation and post go live support
  • Strong QA experience and provide guidance / oversight on test phase
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Experience with all aspects of project management, development & change management cycle
  • Strong JIRA / Confluence skills - Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Proven facilitation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience making tradeoffs between business needs and technology constraints while keep the end user needs at top of mind
  • Strong application knowledge in GL, AP, AR, AGIS, Projects, FA, iExpense, BTax, Cash Management
  • Solid experience in designing integrations to and from Oracle EBS R12.2 Financials
  • Working knowledge in peripherals applications such as Coupa, Lucernex, EPBCS (Hyperion) that integrate closely with Orcle EBS Financials
  • Ability to manage system integrations and UAT cycle
  • Working knowledge in : Oracle PL / SQL, Linux, sftp connectivity, Single Sign On
  • Good understanding of EBS technical environment
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification is an asset
  • Ability to accurately identify, document and recommend solutions to complex business problems
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver within tight timeline
