Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing Technicians

Buffalo Inspection Services is seeking highly skilled and certified Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) Technicians with expertise in Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD). You must hold current CSWIP or PCN ISO 9712 Level 2 certification. Holding additional tickets in Magnetic Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), or more is advantageous.

The ideal candidate(s) will have a strong background in NDT methods, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and quality. Familiarity with Enterprise reporting systems is essential, and a high level of computer literacy is required.

Skills and Qualifications

• Certification in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) – Level II or III preferred. (CSWIP or PCN)
• Certification in Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) – Level II or III preferred. (CSWIP or PCN)
• Certification in Magnetic Testing (MT) – Level II or III preferred. (CGSB)
• Certification in Penetrant Testing (PT) – Level II or III preferred. (CGSB)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in NDT inspections.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes (e.g., ASNT, ISO, ASTM).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• This position will require travel, analysis, and supervision of a team of PAUT / TOFD and general surface technicians.
