About the role

Join the External Affairs team where you will develop, implement, and maintain processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality of information used by the team. Lead the development and utilization of data systems thought the identification of efficient methods to organize, store, and analyze data. Implement effective data management practices and train the team. Produce reports and dashboard to influence strategy and decision-making. Review processes, and technology used to find ways to optimize and automate work conducted by the team and recommend the use of new technologies. Provide strategic advice and guidance to management.

This is a temporary position for a duration of 24 months.

What you'll do :

  • Work with functions within the sector to identify, analyze, structure, prioritize, sequence and capture significant business process redesign and improvement opportunities with the objective of materially improving business unit productivity levels as well as the customer and employee experience.
  • Act as a subject matter expert regarding best practices in business process measurement, analysis, redesign, change and ongoing process management.
  • Leverage the team's new and existing technologies to ensure processes are enabled to the fullest through technology.
  • Create and enforce processes for effective data management. Build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other reporting tools. Support and train others in the daily use of data systems.
  • Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades, etc.)
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) with specific objectives and track them regularly.
  • Effectively build and manage relationships with senior officials of CMHC to provide advice, coaching and support.
  • Provide ongoing analysis of the business environment and engage in regular cross-functional consultation to understand client needs and identify opportunities.
  • What you should have :

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, project management or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of prior relevant experience in building communication strategies, process improvement and project management.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects concurrently.
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business processes and workflows.
  • Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution, etc.). Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI, and CRM.
  • Bilingualism in both offical languages (English and French).
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and marketing skills and the ability to present information to a variety of audiences and influence outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of current communications and marketing platforms, channels and methodologies.
