Contract Administrator Manager - Canada
Overview
Our client is one of the world's largest and most specialized construction groups. With an annual turnover of over €14 billion EUR and over 80, employees worldwide, they are now seeking to appoint a Contract Administrator in a major infrastructure project in Vancouver.
Your Role
Ideally coming from an engineering or quantity surveying background, you will play a lead role in the strategy of the contract management department working closely with the company and project executives.
Experience with contracts drafting and writing letters as well as claims management and EOT claims would be appreciated.
Key Requirements
- Engineering Degree or Quantity Surveyor background
- Exposure to claims and EoT.
- Manage the preparation and submission of interim progress claims and final accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Assist in quantifying Head Contract Scope changes and handle subsequent client negotiations.
- Oversee subcontract progress payment claims, variations, contractual claims, and final accounts per subcontract terms.
- Undertake procurement and negotiation of civil, engineering, supply, and construction contracts.
- Prepare and negotiate Subcontract Agreements and their terms and conditions.
- Ensure project managers and staff comply with commercial requirements in contracts, adhering to policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders, providing support on contract administration matters and ensuring contractual documents are properly prepared and approved.
- Manage disputes or major claims with subcontractors or the Client and provide contractual advice to teams.
- Assist in preparing monthly reports, manage cost-related information and reports, and analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend actions..
