Our client, a large state of the art manufacturing facility, is looking to hire a machine builder / assembler with at least 7 years of experience building machines! This is a full time, career opportunity! Work for a growing Canadian company that has been in business for over 15 years!

Key Responsibilities :
Mechanical assembly of new equipment
Perform quality check on equipment being manufactured
Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions
Apply a systematic approach to test and troubleshoot the equipment by utilizing problem solving skills and root cause analysis
Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
Troubleshoot electrical / mechanical issues that may arise on the equipment and noncompatible parts
Run wires for motors, sensors, and other devices to the control panel
Hook up pneumatic devices and run air lines through the machine
Pay rate :
24-27 / hour, based on experience
Requirements :
Knowledge and experience with sensors, switches, servo motors, pneumatic components
Knowledge of AC / DC gear motor, Contactors, Heaters, safety switches
Must have experience in machine rigging
Able to read mechanical drawings, directions, job orders, blueprints, and specifications
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Minimum 7 years of experience assembling machines
