Assures compliance with the job site safety plan, and takes appropriate action to correct safety issues.
Develop, implement, and update regularly a detailed project logistics plan.
Update the project master schedule and develop and maintain a two-week look ahead forecast with the sub-trades.
Conduct subcontract meetings to discuss safety, job progress, and upcoming coordination items to include at a minimum - all infrastructure shutdowns (road closures, electrical shutdowns).
All shutdowns must be planned with proper documentation submitted to the client at least 10 days in advance.
Ensure work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and local building codes.
Have an understanding of Quality Control for excavation, duct-bank construction, electrical cable pulls, transformer replacements.
Maintain project documentation to include daily logs, safety reports, and job site progress photos.
Document, notify, and track work punch-list to a timely, complete, and acceptable resolution.
Requirements :
The ideal Construction Superintendent will have 5+ Years of experience as a Construction Supervisor, 5+ Years of technical systems experience in one or more of the following : excavation, rock breaking, duct-bank construction, medium voltage work, cable pulling, transformer replacements, shutdowns, and re-termination of feeders.
Effective communication skills and personality traits to be able to work well with team members is a must.
Experience with Microsoft Office, and Procore is preferred.
