What You'll Do

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Functional Analyst Student to join our Emerging Tech and AI team. As a Functional Analyst, you will play a critical role in the Model Governance capabilities within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to provide functional support to Model Governance operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data scientists, software engineers, and IT professionals, to ensure the smooth adoption and effective utilization of the Model Governance capabilities.

  • Support enterprise rollout & adoption of the enterprise Model Governance capabilities.
  • Support the team in ongoing Model Governance operations, including model risk management, stakeholder management and monthly agendas for Governance council.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for user / functional queries related to Model Governance.
  • Ensure adherence to Model Governance processes including model risk tiering and scoring.
  • Support onboarding teams onto the Model Governance platform, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions while coordinating training sessions and creating documentation.
  • Continuously assess user feedback, process inefficiencies, and identify opportunities for enhancing Model Governance capabilities and processes.

What You Bring

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Governance function or functional analyst in a technical setting.
  • Strong understanding of model governance concepts and best practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles is an asset
  • Familiarity with Azure and / or IBM Cloud Pak for Data is an asset
  • Hybrid

This hybrid role is based out of our Yonge / Eglinton Campus and the incumbent will be required to work onsite a minimum two days per week.
