What youll do

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Manager Administrative Services you will provide a full range of administrative support services for the Business Office. You will provide superior customer service to all clients.

Duties will include but are not limited to cashiering accounts receivable (A / R) for student receivables answering incoming calls providing support to students and assisting with their inquiries and general office support to campus administration. You may also provide support to ancillary business and / or campus operations when required (including but not limited to bookstore campus / college events space rentals / bookings accounts payable functions facility operations etc.).

Qualifications and Occupational Experience :

The minimum educational qualification for this position is a post-secondary certificate or diploma in Business or Administrative Professional / Office Administration combined with a minimum of two years (full-time equivalent) recent and related experience in a fast-paced office environment. Or you have the recognized equivalency of a high school diploma with significant (10) years of administrative experience.

Experience with accounts receivable and collections of overdue accounts.

Ability to reconcile cash and use point-of-sale systems for debit transactions.

Experience working with accounts payables would be considered an asset.

Occupational experience that includes basic front desk duties would be considered an asset.

Experience managing student financials would be considered an asset.

Experience as a cashier or relevant finance experience would be considered an asset.

Experience supporting / providing service to students and prospective students would be considered an asset.

Strong demonstrated computer literacy skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Teams with a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Experience with SharePoint and PeopleSoft or a similar ERP system would be considered an asset.
