Temperature Control Mechanic / HVAC

Your Opportunity:

The Cross Cancer Institute is looking for motivated individuals to join our small team to continue exceptional service to ensure the patient care experience is a pleasant one. The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple service requests throughout a day. You will be a part of an interdisciplinary team but will work independently of each other to maintain the critical building systems throughout the hospital.

Description:

As a Temperature Control Mechanic/HVAC, you may perform maintenance, repair, alteration and installation of HVAC control devices, system configurations and air balancing.

Completion of a post-secondary education in a related trade or technology program.

Experience with Seimens control systems and programs. Experience in an acute care hospital maintenance environment is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under emergency conditions and in challenging situations is considered an asset. Knowledge of CSA , ASHRAE 170, healthcare infection prevention and control requirements, and applicable work safety regulations is considered an asset.
