Fleet, Procurement and Facilities provide department-wide level of support within the fields of Fleet, Procurement, GROH Housing and the management of the Kensington Facilities.

We currently have an opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join our team.

The Procurement Manager leads the Procurement team and provides strategic procurement advice to business units across the department and develops a complex and high-risk whole of department goods, services and works contracts. This involves developing business cases, procurement plans, tender documents, evaluation reports, and contract management plans, as well as negotiating and consultation with internal and external stakeholders.

The position manages procurement services and provide expert support and advice for all types of procurement including goods, services and works. Defining and facilitating best practice; working closely with stakeholders, contract managers and teams to ensure compliance with procurement legislation, standards, processes and procedures.

Selection Criteria

Applicants should address the following five (5) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than four (4) pages in total.

• Demonstrated expert support and advice on procurement and contract management for goods, services and works contracts, defining and facilitating better practices.
• Demonstrated extensive experience in complex, high-risk contract development and management.
• Demonstrated high-level written skills with the ability to prepare complex procurement and technical documents working closely with stakeholders and contract managers and teams to ensure compliance with the procurement standards, processes and procedures.
• Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to influence effectively and lead the delivery of a customer-centric service.
• Knowledge of WA Government procurement legislation, policies, and guidelines.
