Lawson Lundell LLP is seeking a Communications Specialist to join our Vancouver office. Reporting to the Business Development and Marketing Manager, this role plays a key part in shaping the firms public profile, brand voice, and external and internal communications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the firms communications and social media strategy, managing firm-wide PR and media initiatives, and delivering clear, compelling content that supports the firms marketing, business development, and client engagement goals.

Essential Job Functions :

Communications and Content Development

• Support, draft, edit, and manage a wide range of external-facing content, including press releases, firm news items, client win announcements, and advertising copy for the firms website and external channels, as well as drafting and reviewing thought leadership and insight pieces in response to legal, business, and market developments.
• Support and draft internal communications, including firm announcements, internal updates, and leadership communications.
• Maintain editorial standards to ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all firm communications.
• Support the execution of the firms go-to-market and social media strategy across platforms.
• Create, manage, and post content, including images, videos, and reels, for the firms social media handles.

Compensation and Benefits :

The typical salary range is $60,000 - $90,000 annually. Candidates meeting the requirements of the role can expect to be placed in the $60,000 - $75,000 range. Candidates with experience that significantly exceeds the requirements may be considered for higher placement within the range, up to $90,000. The base pay offered is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal and market equity.
