We are looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join BrokerLink and work out of our Kentville, NS office on a Permanent FT basis.

What The Role Entails
Provide assistance to the Commercial Account ExecutiveProvide customers with prompt service by giving advice, helping customers understand insurance, and discussing customer concernsReceive and process all incoming Commercial paperworkAssist with quotes to customers, write new business, review existing coverage and update customer file informationPrepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for new clients, issue insurance certificatesProcess endorsements, invoices, and follow up on paymentsCommunicate with Insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters on customers’ behalf, negotiate renewal of terms, and follow up with Adjusters on claims statusSource and obtain additional information requested by the underwriter and complete applicationsThe Successful Candidate Will Have
If you feel you have the equivalent skills, please applyHigh School and / or Post-Secondary Education3 years commercial insurance experience including property / casualty and automobile preferredA valid insurance license for the province of Nova Scotia or willingness to obtain the sameStrong customer focusPrevious sales experience is an assetDemonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfullyStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWe thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
