Job Description
Base Salary - $52,500 + Profit Sharing
We are currently seeking new or recent graduates to join our Management Development Program . This is a full‑time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to earn profit sharing.
Successful candidates may be required to relocate within Canada; relocation assistance will be provided.
The Role
As a Management Trainee, you will progress through a 4‑phase program learning all aspects of the business, including shipping, receiving, counter sales, operations, and employee development. You will build a sales territory, provide world‑class customer service, and receive guidance from managers across Canada.
Program Outline :
Phase 1 (12 months) : Warehouse and Customer Service – Build product knowledge, gain hands‑on experience with logistics, and learn customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory controls, credit management, financial statements, and more.
Phase 2 (12 months) : Customer Relationships and Procurement – Manage large‑scale projects, read blueprint drawings, create material quotes, and build relationships with customers and vendors.
Phase 3 (15–18 months) : Account Management and Proactive Sales – Develop business opportunities, sell products, negotiate contracts, and expand the customer base.
Phase 4 (3 months) : Leadership and Operations – Lead a team, mentor others, and run the business by developing leadership competencies and setting strategy.
Upon completion, you will be ready to manage one of our Canadian Profit Center locations.
