Hays Construction & Development is again partnered with our local GC client that specializes in ICI projects between $30M-$70M+ in the Ottawa area. They are a long-standingpany that has a great reputation for treating their people well and providing a professional working environment.

Your new role

In your new role as a Project Manager, you will be joining a team of other construction professionals to work on new build projects in the city. Your day-to-day job will epass working with the Estimating department for budgeting and tendering, tracking the project progress regularly, administering contract controls and costs and validating those cost estimates.

You will also create the schedule for budget and process billing, developing the master project schedule, setting realistic target dates and milestones as well as reporting on progress against them.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this vital position, you must be a senior level person with at least 5–7 years of progressive and practical experience in a similar Project Manager role. Projects should be from $30-70M in scope and can include fit ups, new builds such as warehouses, high rise buildings or senior residences.

Your post-secondary education should be in construction management or engineering. A PMP or P. Eng is a definite asset, as is Design Build experience.

You must have a valid driver's license and be able to qualify for a Federalernment security clearance.
