Reporting to the General Manager Notch8 responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :
Consistently offer professional thoughtful and sincere service to each guestAssist guests with food and beverage menu items in an informative and engaging mannerAdhere to outlet policies procedures and service standardsHave comprehensive knowledge of beverage lists and promotionsUnderstand all menu items garnishes contents and preparation methodsPossess a working knowledge of wine varietals and regions including detailed descriptions of all red and white wines by the glassFollow all safety and sanitation policies in handling food and beveragesBe aware of dietary restrictions and allergy concerns communicating appropriatelyEnsure the prompt delivery and high quality of productsMaintain proper setup of all mise en place and side stations in the outletPerform function room setups and tear downs including moving and arranging tables chairs cutlery and linensProvide service in a private dining room setting for both day and night functionsCollaborate effectively as a team player and representative of the Food and Beverage DepartmentMaintain excellent communication with kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely serviceAssist with delivering food from the kitchen to tables and help with bussing and resetting tables in a fastpaced environmentHave the ability to create specialty coffees and operate an espresso / specialty coffee machineUndertake other duties as assignedQualifications :
Your experience and skills include :
12 years serving experience in an upscale dining establishment requiredMust be able to work a flexible schedule including days evenings and weekendsServing it Right certification requiredPrevious point of sale system experience an assetProven organizational and multitasking skills in a fastpace environmentDemonstrated ability to be warm & sincereExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableImpeccable groomingFluent in both written and spoken EnglishProven ability to problem solveAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a teamAbility to resolve guest inquiries and concerns in a timely mannerAbility to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all timesPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to) :
