- Financial Management : Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
- Compliance & Auditing : Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audits.
- Team Leadership : Manage the accounting team, providing mentorship and support to foster growth and efficiency.
- Strategic Planning : Partner with the senior management team to provide insights and recommendations for financial strategy and decision-making.
- Revenue Optimization : Analyze revenue streams and cost structures to identify areas for improvement and profitability enhancement.
- System Oversight : Maintain and improve accounting software systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
Requirements
Education : CPA designation preferred, with a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, ideally in the hospitality industry.Skills : Strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage), and Excel.Knowledge : Familiarity with hotel industry metrics, including STR reporting and revenue management systems, is an asset.Soft Skills : Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Corporate Culture
