Description de posteHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate. Red Seal Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certification. Valid class 3 or 1 driver’s license with air (A) endorsement is preferred. Previous experience in a mining environment is an asset. Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights. This position currently follows a 28-day shift rotation working day and night shifts from 7 : 00 to 7 : 00 . The shift rotation is : 3 days, 2 off, 2 nights, 3 off, 2 days, 2 off, 3 nights, 2 off, 2 days, 3 off, 2 nights, 2 off . The Estevan Mine is located approximately 12 km from the city of Estevan and 16 km from the town of Bienfait. The successful candidate will be responsible for his / her own accommodations and transportation .

Position Summary
This position is responsible for diagnosing and repairing large surface mining and plant equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections on equipment and report any deficiencies.
- Identify worn and damaged parts, repairing, adjusting, or replacing as needed.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
- Perform preventative maintenance and operational performance checks on equipment.
- Respond to unplanned equipment outages and assist with preparing major planned shutdowns.
- Maintain records of repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
- Operate tandem axel truck and support equipment as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
