55,000- $65,000
prorated vacation that starts right away
9am-5pm Monday to Friday hours
The Role :
Taking care of projects including government meetings and presentations, letters, submissions, white papers, and others.
Project Coordination-60%
- Coordinating translation needs, according to budget and department measurement
- Identifying, documenting, and delegating action items to internal and external state holders
- Tracking progression GLA projects and assisting government relations and legislative compliance
- Hit milestones and measured KPI’s
- Maintaining and managing relations with internal and external stakeholders
Admin Support- 15%
Maintain database SME contractsContributes to development of government budgetsRetrieves and complies historical data and processes GLA invoices and expense reportsEvent / Program Support- 25%
Prepare & distribute meeting materialsResponsible for logistics, planning for government and legislative affairs ie (booking meetings, catering, arranging accommodation, managing virtual meetings and travel arrangements)Travel up to 4 times a year to Ottawa for workshops
Travel 4 times a year to Montreal for meetings and workshops
Must Haves :
Post secondary education in administration or project management is preferred (PMP)2-3 years relative experienceExcellent communication skills in English and French- they need to t be able to translate documentsTech savvy- PowerPoint, Outlook, ExcelVery well organized and able to multitaskProfessional and presents wellAble to travel (Ottawa and Montreal)Amazing opportunity with a prestigious company !
