Title : Robotic Vision Systems Engineer

About the Role :
Our client, a pioneering force in advanced robotics, is seeking a Robotic Vision Systems Engineer to lead development efforts on perception technologies that fuel intelligent automation. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of integrating vision-based intelligence into autonomous machines, enhancing how robots navigate and interact with the world. Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement computer vision algorithms for detection, tracking, classification, and scene understanding
- Develop SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) pipelines to support real-time localization and mapping
- Create and refine visual feedback loops for robotic motion control (visual servoing)
- Optimize performance of vision systems on embedded and edge-computing platforms
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver full-stack robotics solutions
- Conduct thorough validation in both simulated and physical testing environments
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field2+ years of hands-on experience building real-world computer vision systemsSolid coding experience in Python and C++, utilizing tools such as OpenCV, ROS, or PCLFamiliar with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow for visual intelligence tasksExperience with stereo vision, optical flow, feature extraction, and camera calibrationKnowledge of SLAM libraries and frameworks (e.g., ORB-SLAM, RTAB-Map, or Cartographer)Preferred Experience :
Deployment of vision systems to embedded computing platforms like NVIDIA Jetson or Intel RealSenseBackground in depth estimation, semantic segmentation, or 3D computer visionFamiliarity with fusing multi-modal sensor data, including LiDAR and IMU integrationPrior contributions to open-source projects or relevant academic publicationsWhat’s in It for You :
