Description de posteProviding guidance and advise to Senior stakeholders on platform migration Lead technical workshops, interact with clients and present modernization solutions Analyze and adapt existing COBOL applications to the new solution Establishing and evaluating methodologies and frameworks for operational readiness and to transition enterprise IT projects to IT operations; Providing leadership advice for effective stakeholder engagement for the IT projects and initiatives Providing advice on the assessment of readiness of the new initiative to be implemented; Developing other documents related to the work and, Providing briefings and presentations to senior federal government executives at the ADM, and DM levels
Our valued public sector client requires a Senior Special Advisor to provide expertise on a platform migration initiative for a large benefits initiative.
The resource will need to have extensive experience with Unisys mainframes (ClearPath, Libra and Dorado ) to be able to advise the client on best practices for platform migration.
Must haves :
- 5+ years of experience with Unisys mainframes (ClearPath, Libra and Dorado)
- 5+ years of experience utilizing LINC
- Extensive experience with Mainframe COBOL
