Senior Automation Specialist

We are currently seeking a Senior Automation Specialist with a strong technical background and leadership skills to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality automation solutions. You will be responsible for guiding our controls team through the design, programming, and implementation of automation systems across a variety of complex projects.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Design, configure, and program automation and control systems using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Provide detailed documentation throughout each project.
• Lead and manage controls design projects to deliver high-quality, reliable systems.
• Complete controls designs and electrical schematics; specifying hardware and components.
• Provide expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems.
• Inspect products and processes to identify areas of improvement.
• Interact with customers to understand requirements and develop tailored solutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of design specifications, test results, and project progress, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, new technologies, materials and compliance standards.
• Prepare hardwired design sketch work on assigned projects.
• Develop and implement design standards / modular hardwired designs.
