Job Description

The Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) Enterprise Testing Team (formerly Global Anti‑Money Laundering) sits within the second line of defense and conducts design and operating effectiveness testing of AML / ATF, Sanctions, and ABAC controls (collectively referred to as "FCRM Controls") within TD's business lines, relevant operational and control units (including the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU)), and key FCRM technologies, enterprise‑wide (Canada, Europe, and Asia‑Pacific).

The Senior FCRM Testing Analyst executes independent testing of FCRM controls for assigned businesses, technologies, and operational units across the Bank. The position will assume leadership of the engagement and have responsibility for completion of testing phases. The position will develop test plans, and attributes, and monitor progress of the engagement. As the overall engagement lead, the position may also oversee and review work of supporting analysts.

This position will be responsible for testing key controls and processes within TD's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) including, but not limited to, teams responsible for transaction monitoring, high‑risk investigations, regulatory reporting, demarkets, and sanctions operations.

Key Accountabilities

• Oversee and / or independently perform testing of FCRM controls within the various TD lines of business as well as the operational units including the FIU, High Risk Investigations, Sanctions Operations, and Anti‑Bribery Anti‑Corruption teams.
• Lead the communication and reporting process with multiple stakeholders, including senior management.
• Execute all phases of a testing engagement, including planning, fieldwork (design and operational effectiveness testing, including sample testing), and reporting.
• Collaborate and coach supporting analysts in all phases of the engagement.
• Execute follow‑up of findings raised from testing engagements in accordance with established standards.
• Interact frequently with management and senior leadership of FCRM business lines.
• Prepare and present complex reporting, analysis and assessments that will bring about significant improvements to internal processes and activities.
• Execute on more complex and / or non‑standard requests.
• May undertake and complete a variety of projects and initiatives in addition to regularly scheduled testing engagements.
• Keep current on emerging trends and evolving regulatory requirements to find opportunities and recommend improvement areas to senior management to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
• Reports to a Manager role.
