Airswift is seeking a LEMs Administrator to work with one of our clients in the oil and gas industry in Fort Saskatchewan, AB on a 4-month contract.
Accountabilities :
- Receive and sort timesheets from vendors
- Verify contractors’ labor hours, material and equipment costs against timesheets and vendor contract details
- Validation of timesheets against gate swipe access system for any discrepancies
- Approve validated time in TRACK system for vendor payment
- Data entry of Non-Track vendors’ labor hours, material and equipment costs into Excel for upload into Forecaster program
- Identify issues related to timesheets and communicate these with vendor timekeepers or Shell field leads
- Identify discrepancies based on contracts in place for the Turnaround event and communicate these with Contracting & Procurement (CP) team
- Work closely with Turnaround Cost Control Team to identify trends
- Assist with the preparation of daily accruals for vendor time not yet submitted
- Ad hoc duties as required by TCT Lead Special Challenges :
- Identifying and resolving issues
- Reviewing a very large volume of transactions under time constraints
- Extended working hours during Turnaround execution phase (6 days x 10 hours / day)
- Careful attention to detail is necessary due to the high need for accuracy
Experience and Qualifications Required :
Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and credibly while demonstrating integrity with Turnaround management team, CP team, external vendors and other relevant stakeholdersAccounting knowledge – in relation to understanding and creating accruals and performing reconciliationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbove average Excel skills and understanding requiredPrevious Turnaround or Energy industry experience would be considered an assetPrevious SAP and Adobe Pro experience would be considered an assetAdditional considerations :
Role with be hybrid (due to new ways of working, so will need to be able to have a home office set up). As well, during the Turnaround execution period (beginning of September to end of November), candidate will be required to work 6 days / week and ~ 10 hrs / day.
