Open-Rank Faculty Professor Position in Clinical Psychology

Position Summary

The University of Regina is a vibrant and growing campus in a province with a booming economy. The Department of Psychology comprises a large undergraduate and honours program in addition to experimental and clinical graduate programs and has received numerous accolades for its research output and impact. Most recently, a paper published in Canadian Psychology () identified 3 department faculty as being amongst the top 15% most productive clinical psychologists in Canada.As part of an ongoing expansion of the Clinical Psychology Graduate Program, the Department of Psychology at the University of Regina is seeking applications for an open rank position in Clinical Psychology. Area of clinical research specialization is open, and rank of the position will be commensurate with experience. Date of commencement is negotiable depending on the availability of the successful candidate, but we wish to fill this position as soon as possible.Duties of the successful candidate will include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, honours and graduate thesis supervision, supervision of clinical practicums, and participation in departmental activities. The successful candidate is expected to have an independent and active program of research in clinical psychology that would be eligible for Tri-Council and/or Canada Foundation for Innovation funding.

The Department maintains good relations with a number of health care, research, and other educational facilities both within Regina and throughout the province.

Position Requirements Applicants must have a PhD in clinical psychology from a CPA- or APA-accredited program and must be eligible to be registered as a psychologist in Saskatchewan. The successful candidate must show clear evidence of excellence in research, teaching, and clinical work and should be willing and able to teach graduate level courses in assessment and intervention.
