SharePoint Migration Analyst

MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a SharePoint Migration Analyst for a permanent role with a client of ours located in Vancouver.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA strategy and execution.
• Develop and maintain test plans, strategies, and test cases specific to SharePoint online migrations and metadata, permissions, and information architecture validation.
• Coordinate and execute migration validation, user acceptance training (UAT), regression and integration testing.
• Identify, log and track defects through resolution tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate closely with migration SME’s, developers, and platform teams to resolve quality issues.
• Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect triage and sign-off coordination.
• Provide clear QA status updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to project team.
• Support migration related activities including facilitating requirements gathering sessions for business needs.
• Document and maintain business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and high-level process flows.
• Act as a liaison between business users, product owners and development team to clarify requirements and manage expectations.
• Identify gaps, risks and dependencies early and collaborate with project team for practical solutions.
