The candidate should be a team player with internal drive and a strong potential for professional growth and development.Reports to : ControllerEssential Functions : Prepare various financial statements, reports and year-end filesResponsible for the month-end closing of various companies within the GroupGeneral Ledger analysis, reconciliation and journal entry postingImplement new accounting requirementsManage all government accesses (MRQ, CRA)Support management for all corporate filesReview internal processes to identify areas for improvementCreate, analyze and manage various reports in ExcelExecute any other administrative and accounting related task to support the Accounting DepartmentSKILLS & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s Degree in Accounting3-5 years of relevant experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and EnglishProficiency in MS Office applications, especially ExcelProficient in the use of accounting systems (QuickBooks, Unicom, Sage 50)Working knowledge of Transportation Management Systems is a plusAbility to prioritize and multi-taskExcellent attention to detail, methodical and analyticalExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work under pressure with tight deadlinesPleasant, professional, team playerAutonomous and solution oriented
