Key Responsibilities

Surgery Administration & Chart Management

• Proofreading cataract slates
• Preparing cataract charts (FH CGH counsellor charts)
• Creating cataract slates (FH CGH laser retinal laser)
• Preparing / printing telehealth paperwork and laser documentation
• Pulling charts in advance for upcoming CGH surgery days
• Entering cataract post-op appointments
• Confirming surgery dates (5 weeks prior)
• Updating Cataract Tracking Monthly Surgery Reports and KPI spreadsheets
• Scanning filing and maintaining cataract charts and medical history questionnaires
• Managing and preparing booking packages and waitlists
• Sending booking packages once work-ups are completed
• Checking MSP eligibility for next-day cataract surgery days
• Verifying billing and fee guide codes for upcoming surgery dates
