Senior Project Manager to lead the transition from Extended (legacy document management system) to SharePoint Online.

Our client is seeking a  Senior Project Manager to lead the transition from Legacy document management system to SharePoint Online.

Initially a 12-months contract to start with possibilities of additional renewals as this is a 2-year program. Hybrid model in Vancouver 2 days / week on-site with first 4 days onsite (Thursdays are mandatory days and 1 other day). 35 hours / week - 7 hour days Mon-Fri. If residing outside of BC, must work PST time zone and be able to come onsite first 4 days of contract at own expense and 1 Thursday a month after at own expense.

Must-Haves :

• 7+ years as a  IT   Project Manager
• Experience leading  SharePoint  migrations and implementations.
• Strong understanding of  SharePoint Online; document architecture, permissions / security, metadata, and content types.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple testing cycles and cross-functional dependencies.
• Experience working with M ecosystem and tools (not just as a user but on projects)
• Experience with formation governance or compliance-based document storage.
