Fonctions Spécifiques/Specific functions

Personne qui assure le soutien, la surveillance, la discipline, l'accompagnement et l'animation des usagers qui lui sont confiés. Elle accueille les usagers de tous les services d'intervention et intervient en moment de crise, de désorganisation ou de besoin d'aide particulière. Elle peut assumer, en termes de soutien aux intervenants, des présences dans les différents services, lorsque la situation l'exige. Elle répond à certains besoins des usagers en fonction des objectifs de réadaptation poursuivis. Elle peut donner aux usagers des soins de base, notamment des soins d’hygiène et d’alimentation. Person who provides support, supervision, discipline, accompaniment and animation of the users entrusted to him. It welcomes users of all intervention services and intervenes in times of crisis, disorganization or need for special help. She can assume, in terms of support for stakeholders, presence in the different services, when the situation requires it. It meets certain needs of users according to the rehabilitation objectives pursued. She can provide users with basic care, in particular hygiene and nutritional care. She intervenes physically when the situation requires it and carries out searches on users or physical places when requested. She observes the user's behavior and reports her observations through meaningful reports for the continuation of her treatment.

Exigences spécifiques/Specific Requirements

• Diplôme de fin d’études secondaires
• Maîtrise de l’anglais essentielle (parlé et écrit), la connaissance du français ou de l’inuktitut serait un atout
• Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience pertinente
• Avoir une bonne capacité d’adaptation à la clientèle d’un milieu culturel différent
• Être capable d’intervenir physiquement lors de situation de crise
• Être sensible, compréhensif, mature et démontrer une attitude positive
• Avoir de bonnes habiletés interpersonnelles
• Accepter de participer à toute formation offerte par l’employeur ou une institution d’enseignement et jugée nécessaire pour un exercice plus efficace de ses tâches et fonctions
• Partager ses connaissances et habiletés, travailler en collaboration
• Expérience de travail auprès des adolescents serait un atout
• Doit avoir un permis de conduire valide
• High School Diploma
• Bilingual English / French spoken and written, knowledge of Inuktitut would be an asset
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Capacity to adapt to a clientele from a different cultural background
• Be sensitive, understanding and emotionally mature and display a positive attitude
• Capacity to intervene physically when the situation requires
• Must have good interpersonal skills
• Available to work day, evening and week-end shifts
• Be available to work on day, evening, night and weekend shifts
• History working with youth is an asset
• Willing to participate in any training provided by the employer or educational institution and deemed necessary for a more effective performance of their duties or tasks
• Share knowledge and skills, work in collaboration with social interveners
• Must have a valid driver’s license
